'Inspiration for the track came to me while in Kandy' explains Bathiya. 'I was at the Le Kandyan hotel nine months ago where I saw a classical serpina player play the tune to Sawan. After hearing the melody, I recorded it on my mobile phone and played it to Santhush. We both agreed that this song was a remix waiting to happen'.

The song 'Sawan - The Remix' also includes the vocal talents of soul singer Ashathi and Hip Hop artist Randhir. 'I think BNS have managed to breathe new life into Sawan. The song has enough bump to be a genuine club anthem' says Randhir.

Upon recording 'Sawan - The Remix' BNS went straight into filming its video clip. The video was shot in less than a day and is due for release in less than week's time from now. BNS claim that the video features one of Sri Lanka's most popular actresses and teen-idols, but prefer not to mention any names for the moment. 'We'll let the public speculate who this mystery actress could be' says Santhush with a cheeky grin.
