Universal Music is a label committed to empowering artists and taking their careers beyond national borders, says Rajit Karkar Managing Director for Universal Music India. BNS's appearance on Universal's compilation is a step-up from their last ground-breaking achievement in the international music scene. In early August, the video for Neththara was featured on India's trend setting Channel V. The video is one of the first Sri Lankan hits to be played by Channel V. "We are over the moon about being featured on Channel V" says Bathiya "Its great to know your video is being seen by close to a billion people". Channel V will continue to play video tracks from the Neththra Album.

Universal's promotion of BNS is a good precursor to an album the duo plan to release in the Indian subcontinent, believes Santhush. The album is a compilation of BNS's greatest hits recorded in Hindi. A definite release date for the album is yet to be decided but the duo hope to release it early next year. BNS believe Channel V's positive response to the Neththara video is a sign of good things to come. "If they enjoyed Neththara you hope they will enjoy the rest of music just as much" smiles Bathiya.
